Due to changes in precipitation, especially in connection with more frequent droughts, the town proposed to reduce water consumption by reusing rain and waste "grey" water in the building of the kindergarten Božena Němcová. Rainwater is now collected in surface water reservoirs and further used for irrigation of grass areas in the school premises, which is saving money for the supply and drainage of water (so-called water and sewage). Rainwater irrigation replenishes groundwater supplies and improves the microclimate of the environment through increased evaporation.
For this purpose, the following measures was to purchase under the proposed measure:
- 4 pieces of water collectors with filter: 2 pieces of plastic collection tank with a volume of 300l and 2 pieces of plastic collection tank with a volume of 650l
- 4 drain taps
- 4 roof gutters from the roof with an area of 219 m2
